Frequently Asked Questions

Why do my jam tarts shrink?

If the cooking temperature is too low during baking, the tarts will shrink.

How do I stop the jam from boiling over when making jam tarts?

It is important to not overfill the tart shells with jam before baking. For best results, leave a 2-3mm gap between the top of the jam and the pastry.
